From data analysts to graphic designers, to data scientists to UX/UI designers, our 2024 summer interns dove into projects across Possip’s platform and outreach. We are thankful for the incredible work our interns completed this summer and are excited to follow them in their future careers! We’re also incredibly grateful for our intern program partnerships with Vanderbilt University, University of  Cincinnati, and Northeastern University.

Possip 2024 Summer Interns

Jie Xin (Jasmine) Chen | Data Analyst Intern

Jasmine is currently pursuing a Master’s in Analytics at Northeastern University, with an expected graduation date next March. Originally from Taiwan, she studied Hospitality Management with a bachelor’s degree in Taipei. Despite changing her major, she has a strong foundation in data analysis due to two internships she completed after graduation, both focused on data analysis, one in the education industry and the other in the entertainment industry. This experience allows Jasmine to adapt to various fields, which is one of the main reasons she pursued a master’s degree in data analytics. She is energetic and outgoing. Her interests include dancing, working out, playing computer games, and hanging out with friends. Jasmine is passionate about her field and aims to become an excellent data analyst or project manager in the future.

“I really appreciate how everyone at Possip is so passionate about making the company better. The daily huddles and whip-around questions are very interesting and create a strong sense of unity.” – Jasmine Chen

Arya Garg | Data Specialist Intern

Arya brings to the team a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. His solid foundation in data science is evident through his contributions at Possip, as well as his active involvement in research focusing on machine learning tools. Arya’s leadership shines in student-driven initiatives such as Project Lykoi and Project Floppa, emphasizing his commitment to teamwork and the application of his knowledge. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Arya harbors diverse interests. He’s an avid chess player, appreciating the strategy and foresight the game requires. Photography is another passion of his. On weekends, you might find him on a soccer field, channeling his energy and teamwork skills, or brainstorming solutions at a local hackathon.

“Possip is the best place I could have hoped to work for. Shout out to my mentor Juan for giving me a healthy balance of both autonomy and guidance.” – Arya Garg
